The Leica CS50 is a rugged field controller designed for professional surveying with Leica Captivate.
Its responsive performance helps you work with large datasets, CAD files, IFC models and imagery, while the bright display and tactile keypad make it practical to use throughout the working day.
With an integrated DISTO™ for measuring remote or hard-to-reach points, the CS50 helps you complete more tasks directly in the field.

Leica Captivate field software
The CS50 runs Leica Captivate, bringing survey data and instrument workflows together in the field. Use Captivate to measure, stake out, visualise and check data in 3D, with performance designed to keep demanding projects moving.
Prepare jobs in Leica Infinity and transfer them to the CS50 through GeoCloud. Once fieldwork is complete, send data back to the office for checking and processing, or continue working with it in Infinity and export to CAD or BIM applications.
Connect Your Instruments & Office Workflow
The CS50 is part of the Leica Captivate portfolio and can be used with compatible Leica total stations and GNSS equipment.
GeoCloud supports data sharing between field and office, while GeoCloud Fleet’s Control feature can enable internet-based operation of a compatible TS20 total station.
Compatibility Note
The CS50 runs Captivate 2027 and newer; Captivate v12 and earlier cannot be installed on the controller.
It can connect to compatible Leica instruments running Captivate v12 or newer, although some of the latest features may depend on the instrument’s software.
